William Herman joined JM Zell in 2019, bringing significant development and project management experience earned over a 30-year career in commercial real estate. Most recently, Bill was founder and principal manager of Urban Realty Advisors, a full-service real estate firm, a successor to Concord Partners, providing project development services including brokerage, strategic planning, site acquisition, due-diligence, financing, design and construction management, move and relocation services for commercial office, hospitality and multi-family clients.
As senior project manager for the Kaempfer Company and for Boston Properties, he was responsible for all aspects of real estate development, including acquisition, due-diligence, zoning, financing, design, construction, marketing and leasing of commercial office projects. Prior to that he was a senior designer with SOM, charged with design and construction administration for office and hotel projects. Bill earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
